EXPERIENCES THAT CONNECT WHAT WE WERE WITH WHAT WE ARE

Almanzora Valley

The Almanzora Valley receives its name from the Almanzora River.

It is an extensive, varied and diverse region that contrasts with the traditional image of Almeria: magnific beaches and desert landscapes. Almeria is the area of Europe that offers the most variety of microclimates and landscapes. Almería has mountains that extend to its beaches and inside have wonders things to discover,is the case of the Almanzora Valley.

The Sierra de los Filabres and the Sierra de las Estancias are the two mountainous masses that form and delimit us and that channel the Almanzora River from East to West, from its source to its mouth in the Levantine-Almerian Mediterranean. Mountains that have more than 2,000 meters of altitude, and where it is usual to see the snow every winter. Where the trees and forests, do not imagine that the desert is less than 50 km. Where fountains, wildlife and flora enrich this unique corner of Andalusia. Our greatest asset is to enrich the diversity of the Almería province, and of Andalusia in general.

The rich history that takes us from the prehistoric settlements such as the Argaric culture, passed by Romans, Muslims, and Christians … make the cultural legacy as rich as the natural one. Unique and unique traditions, and the friendly and welcoming nature of its people, make the year continually dotted with daily events and holidays that bring a unique vision of life and the world.

UNIQUE EXPERIENCES

WHAT TO DO?
